Life is Beautiful

A man named Guido Orefice was an Italian wanted to open a book store, unfortunately he don't have much money to afford on having his own book store. He and his friend Ferrucio went to Guido's uncle to help him up on finding a job, and when he finds a job he can save money and open a book store. His uncle Eliseo gave him a job as a waiter in a fancy hotel.
 
One day, Guido visit a money leader to secure his loan to open up his bookshop. Amico is one of the worker and he is the boss on the money leader and he is mad with Guido because not only he accidentally hurt him but also Amico wanted to be with Dora too.

Guido met Dora in the farm and he was shock because of her beauty that Guido has never seen anyone as beautiful as Dora. From that moment, Guido always calling Dora as her princess because Guido says that she is the love of his life. Night at Doras engagement party to Amico, Guido came to Dora and ask if he is serious about getting married in the man like Amico. So Dora didn't hesitate to choose and he go to Guido and they leave the party. After the party, Dora admit that she has a feeling with Guido too and that make him very happy they and they stay together.
 
Several years later Guido and Dora has a son named Giosue, they were living a happy family however Guido has been harrased by the fascists. Guido, Elisco and even his son Goisue are taken away to concentration camp. Dora refused to be left behind but she insisted to be allowed to go to the camp as well. At the camp, Guido are making away to protect his son from the forror of their situation. Guido told his son that they just when on the trip and they will just playing like he was young. Guido elaborated to Giosue that if he stay silent, when he don't cry looking for his mother he will win points and once that he get a 1000 points the prize will be a tank, a real tank.

Few days later, Guido was killed by the soldier, but he mange to give his son a one last moment of joy as he walks by the cabinet where Giosue is hiding and he wink at him and does a funny face. That will be the last time that he will see his father. When the sun came out, Giosue sees that everyone has gone and when he looked around he heard something strange. A tank surrounded him which it means that he won, he got the 1000 points and he's price was a tank.

When the movie ends it was really sad because a good guy like Guido died were all he just wanted was to make his son happy and show him the love of a father. A man like Guido is an example that being a father will do anything for their family even they sacrifice they're own life.
